Apprenticeship Program – Combines on-the-job learning with online learning and mentoring in a 9-12 month training program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. There are 3 apprenticeships pathways: lodging manager, hotel cook, and maintenance employee. Apprentices earn industry certifications at completion of the program. The AHLA Foundation has apprentices working in nearly all 50 states across the country – from major hotel brands to large and small management companies and independent properties.
Mentorship Program – Our mentorship program focuses on fostering personal and professional connections and further developing leaders at all levels of the industry.
Professional Development Scholarships – Our Professional Development Scholarships cover the cost of the certification study guide (if applicable), examination fee, and certification fee for professional certifications offered for 20+ positions in the hospitality industry, including the prestigious CHA®-Certified Hotel Administrator.
