Senior Manager, Programs and Impact

Molly joined the AHLA Foundation team in 2024 and serves as the Senior Manager of Programs and Impact. Molly has over 8 years of experience working for property ownership in the hospitality sector to drive social and environmental impact programs and initiatives, including community engagement activities. In her former role as ESG & Executive Supervisor at Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. (NYSE: INN), Molly founded and led the Summit Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private foundation. Since 2017, the Summit Foundation has donated over $850,000, volunteered 1,500 service hours, and supported 55 community-based organizations. Molly also developed and managed the company’s ESG program, including their climate reduction strategy, reporting and disclosures, and regulatory and brand compliance for approximately 100 hotel assets and $25 million annual utility spend. Mostly notably, her work resulted in a 26% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and 3.5x increase in green certified buildings from 2019, 67% increase in smart building systems from 2022, and 5x increase in EVC infrastructure from 2021. Molly also previously served on the AHLAF Industry Impact Leaders Committee, AHLA Sustainability Committee, and AHLA Under 30 Committee. Molly has a master’s degree in international studies from Texas State University.
