Thanks to Marriott, NRFT Survivor Fund Reaches $3.4 Million

We are excited to share the news that The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation and Marriott International have announced a $550,000 combined contribution to AHLA Foundation’s No Room for Trafficking Survivor Fund. We are enormously grateful to Marriott for this generous contribution.

Since its launch less than a year ago, the NRFT Survivor Fund has raised $3.4 million, which will fund community-based organizations that support the economic stability of human trafficking survivors. The goal is to help prevent revictimization by empowering and equipping survivors with resources to support them on their path forward, from emergency housing to career development, and other critical needs.

And there’s more good news: the NRFT Survivor Fund will award its first grants next month. Be sure to follow AHLA Foundation on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to be the first to find out who the grant recipients will be.

Through its comprehensive No Room for Trafficking program, AHLA Foundation works to unite the hotel industry in its fight against human trafficking through training, awareness, and survivor support efforts.
